Health and Social Care Cambridge Technical (Single)

Level 3 Cambridge Technical are qualifications that are designed to provide specialist work-related qualifications in a range of sectors. They give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that they need to prepare them for employment or to study at degree level.

The units covered include: building positive relationships in health and social care, equality, diversity and rights in health and social care, health, safety and security in health and social care, anatomy and physiology for health and social care, infection control, personalisation and a person-centred approach to care, safeguarding, creativity and activity for children and young people, nutrition for health, promote positive behaviour, the impact of longterm physiological conditions, promoting health and wellbeing, supporting people with mental health conditions, creativity and activity for adults, psychology for health and social care, sociology for health and social care and public health.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of five GCSEs at grades 4-9 including English and maths, including merit/distinction at BTEC Level 2 if studied.
