Digital Media Cambridge Technical

The Cambridge technical is for students who are interested in media studies but would prefer to place a greater emphasis on coursework rather than exams and is equivalent to a single A-Level. The course will provide learners with the opportunity through applied learning to develop core specialist knowledge, skills and understanding of the digital media sector.

Students will take between five and seven units, three of which are mandatory which cover ‘Media Products and audiences’, ‘Preproduction and planning’, and ‘Create a media product’. The optional units will vary depending on the cohort but could include ‘Advertising Media’ and ‘The creation and use of sound in media’.

Please note that 18 rated content may form part of the material studied for this course.
