Mathematics A-Level

Mathematics, as you would expect, builds on topics already studied at GCSE including algebra, geometry and trigonometry. Pure mathematics focuses on these skills, but also introduces and develops knowledge of exponential functions, logarithms and calculus. Statistics also builds and develops the data handling and probability studied at GCSE, including probability, sampling, and hypothesis testing. Mechanics includes kinematics, Newton Laws, forces and moments.
