Three Dimensional Design

A-level

Three-Dimensional Design involves creation, selection and manipulation with a wide variety of processes. Creative thinking and problem solving work alongside a range of material disciplines to produce interesting and varied outcomes. Experimenting with a range of disciplines freely and often embracing both traditional and contemporary technologies makes the course both stimulating and challenging.

The coursework and examinations require the production of a substantial amount of practical work. Students are encouraged to carry out independent research and to visit galleries and exhibitions to help develop their personal and imaginative ideas within their work.
